A lot of homeowners with EVs are still relying on a standard 120V outlet to charge overnight. It works, but it's slow - and depending on how much you drive, you might not wake up to a full battery. A Level 2 charger like the Tesla Wall Connector fixes that. It runs on 240V and charges significantly faster, which means you plug in at night and your car is ready to go in the morning. No guessing, no waiting.

Here's what we were working with on this one - a garage subpanel that needed a dedicated circuit added for the charger. Before we touched anything, we opened up that panel and took a good look at what was going on inside. There was already quite a bit going on in there - multiple circuits, older wiring, breakers that needed a close evaluation before we could safely add anything new. That kind of panel assessment is something we do on every EV charger install. You don't just slap a new breaker in and call it a day.

Once we confirmed the panel could handle it safely, we got to work running the circuit and mounting the Wall Connector. We used a level and chalk line to get the placement dialed in on the wall - straight, clean, and positioned right below the subpanel for a short, direct wire run. That kind of attention to the small stuff is what separates a proper installation from a sloppy one. It also matters for long-term safety.

The end result is a clean, wall-mounted Tesla Wall Connector with the green indicator light glowing - fully operational and ready to charge. The homeowner went from slow trickle charging to a fast, reliable Level 2 setup right in their own garage. No more trips to a public charger. No more waking up to a half-charged battery.
